Thomas Hand’s daughter, Emily (8), was shot dead by Hamas terrorists , who went door-to-door in  Kibbutz Be’eri, a few kilometres from the Gaza border, on October 7th, shooting anyone they could find. Thomas, who was born in Ireland and grew up in the UK, said he was delighted when he heard his daughter had been killed because the alternative – captivity in the hands of Hamas in Gaza- was simply unthinkable.
