Architect Amir Mann, an expert in city planning, infrastructure and traffic, who is behind the design of Tel Aviv’s new Red Line light rail's control and operation center said the new line would be a total change in transportation culture for passengers than the current public transportation systems. He said that while the new line would move about a quarter of a million passengers a day, the future underground Metro being built in Tel Aviv would probably carry two million a day.
