Sinopsis

The first temporary exhibition of the newly refurbished Tower of David museum in Jerusalem’s Old City opened this week.  Street Games: An architectural-interactive experience  is based on the books of architect David Kroyanker.  The exhibition  displays illustrations of buildings and of architectural objects that represent the walls of the old city, and  five Jerusalem streets: Meah Shearim, Haneveim, Yaffo, Ramban, and Emek Refaim. By way of these urban illustrations, visitors encounter the various styles of Jerusalem architecture from the 16th century until today. KAN's Mark Weiss spoke with Eilat Lieber, Director and Chief Curator of the museum, asking her first about the makeover the museum has undertaken.
