MK Gilad Kariv of the Labor party says that the government has become more violent in its efforts to push through the judicial reform and that social protests were more than legitimate to stop it and its blow to Israel’s democracy. Speaking to reporter Arieh O’Sullivan, Kariv said he feared that the “extreme ultra-nationalist government” will use the police to violently crack down on the demonstrations.
