The candidates for the next IDF chief of General Staff has been narrowed down to two generals. We turned to Anna Ahronheim, the defense and military correspondent for The Jerusalem Post, who has her finger on the pulse of the latest conquest for the next IDF chief of general staff. Both general Eyal Zamir and Herzl Halevi have served as deputy chief of staff, but she told reporter Arieh O'Sullivan that Halevi has the upper hand.
