A demonstration was held today in Jerusalem outside the National Planning and Building Council by activists and lawmakers who are seeking a more transparent planning process in order to preserve natural gems and sites from construction. MK Alon Tal of the Blue and White Party was there and told reporter Arieh O’Sullivan that the ancient village of Lifta as well as the forests around the capital need to be preserved for the sake of the environment.
