Poll: voters put economy over security now

A new survey by the Israel Democracy Institute shows that Israeli voters are most concerned about the economy and high cost of living and are putting it as their number one priority for voters in the upcoming national elections. The survey published today also found that a party’s leader has more influence on a vote than the list of candidates for the Knesset. Prof. Tamar Herman, a senior researcher at IDI, said that it was part of the trend for individual politics over party politics.
