Danny Danon, chairman of World Likud and a former Israeli ambassador to the United Nations, says the current Israeli government was too slow in mounting opposition to the emerging Iran nuclear deal. Danon, who won a realistic spot in the Likud party primaries and hopes to return to the Knesset in the November 1 election, told KAN reporter Naomi Segal that Israel and moderate Arab nations of the region must stand united in the face of the threat posed by Iran.
