Today marks the 21st anniversary of the 9/11 al Qaeda terrorist attacks in the United States that killed 3,000 people and set off America’s War on Terror. On the outskirts of Jerusalem is the only memorial outside of the United States that commemorates that event. This evening a ceremony was held there, attended by the US ambassador to Israel, dignitaries and top officials from Keren Kayemet L’Israel, the JNF which set up the memorial. Representing the JNF was David Borowich Yaari, director of the board of KKL.
