Israeli documentary film maker and producer Oren Rosenfeld has won, not one, but two Emmy Awards for news. The awards were handed out last week in New York City and Rosenfeld’s  “The battle for Jerusalem” on VICE news won for outstanding video journalism news and for also for news reporting. Rosenfeld told reporter Arieh O’Sullivan that the coronavirus pandemic put many challenges on covering the story, but that the tensions in Jerusalem set in the midst of rocket attacks from the Gaza Strip and internecine violence turned it into a very explosive news documentary, found worthy of television’s highest award.
