The protest movement against the judicial overhaul are planning an unprecedented Day of National Disruption for Tuesday , July 11th, as the government presses ahead with the controversial legislation.  Fourteen people were hospitalized after police used water cannons and horse charges to disperse protestors who blocked the main Tel Aviv Ayalon highway on Wednesday night  following the dramatic resignation of Tel Aviv police chief Ami Eshed. Commander Eshed said he refused to follow orders from national security minister Itamar Ben-Gvir for a tougher stance against the ongoing protests.
