Saskscapes

How involved are you in my community?  Imagine what it must be like for newcomers to Saskatchewan who have so many challenges that many of us take for granted. Perhaps learning a new language, adapting to a new climate, finding ones place in the community and so much more. INVOLVE is an initiative launched in 2015 through the combined efforts of the Multicultural Council of Saskatchewan (MCoS), SaskCulture and the Regina Open Door Society (RODS).   The facilitator training program readies select participants from local community organizations to integrate INVOLVE into their own communities.  In turn, newcomers have opportunities where they can begin to contribute to their communities and have their voices heard.
