"Therefore, I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours." Mark 11:24 Whenever I gather people to pray or in the midst of people in a prayer gathering, I'm always bothered about people who give little attention to prayer in such an atmosphere. Our nonchalant attitude towards prayer shows that we lack faith and do not believe God truly answers prayer. The God we serve is a living God; He can answer our prayers, not just hear them. And every time we raise our voice, either in praises or prayers, God hears and attends to our offer. The Bible is full of testimonies of people who prayed and received quick answers from God. A prominent example is a man called Elijah; Elijah prayed passionately that rain should not fall, and rain seized for three years and six months. Some believers do not see prayer as their responsibility; they believe in their pastors as special beings capable of speaking to God on their behalf. Of course, all pastors must be h
