The Sam Spiegel Film School in Jerusalem has launched a special Lab, with the support of Netflix and other partners, that will guide eight selected young Israeli writers through the process. One project will win a Neftlix Series Development Award and all will enjoy a workshop and script development help from visiting producer and screenwriter Joe Peracchio who will also mentor the participants. Mor Eldar, the director of the Sam Spiegel Series film and television lab, told reporter Arieh O’Sullivan that contrary to the United States, series writers work alone.
