Police were bracing for thousands of people  to participate in Jerusalem’s Pride parade on Thursday. This year the  annual event  is taking place under Israel’s most right-wing government ever, with openly homophobic members. The march in the conservative city is always tense and tightly secured by police, and has been wracked by violence in the past.  KAN's Mark Weiss spoke about the Jerusalem Pride march with Hila Pe’er, the chair of  LGBT Equality Israel.
