Among the individuals and projects being highlighted during Israeli Excellence Week is "Now Me," a new initiative spearheaded by two women, Mei-Gal Avinoam and Dana Pinhasov, who were both wounded during their IDF service, and based on the challenges each of them faced in their own recoveries and rehabilitation of their lives, have founded a program to specifically provide support to IDF disabled women veterans. They will be giving a talk about their personal experiences and the project at 7 p.m. at Beit HaLochem in Tel Aviv on Thursday, May 11th.
