"For our sake, he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God." 2 Corinthians 5:21 Philippians 1:11 states that we are to be "filled with the fruits of righteousness which come through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God." This verse reminds us that we cannot earn God's righteousness through our efforts. No amount of work or labor can make us worthy of being in God's presence. Instead, only through faith in Jesus Christ can we obtain this righteousness. And be rest assured knowing that your salvation is secure in Christ and work towards becoming more like Him out of gratitude and love.
