"And he told them a parable to the effect that they ought always to pray and not lose heart." Luke 18:1 As believers, we are encouraged to pray without ceasing and to present our requests before the Lord. However, we must always remember that prayer is not a monologue but a dialogue with God. He desires to hear from us, and it's His delight when we confidently come before Him. In Matthew 7:24-25, Jesus spoke about building our lives on a solid foundation. He likened it to building our house on the rock instead of sand. We can apply this same principle to our prayer life by building our confidence in the foundation of Christ. However, when we have faith in God and believe He hears us when we pray, we are assured that our requests will be granted. Our faith switches off doubt and fills us with hope. When we pray to God with a pure heart and strong faith, He listens attentively. The Bible tells us that if anyone asks for anything according to His will, it will be given to them. This means that if
