The Indianapolis Colts are not making things any easier on themselves as of late. After starting the season 5-2, the Colts have gone 1-4 in their last five games, and are all but out of the playoff picture at this point. This year's situation is almost exactly the opposite from a year ago where the Colts started the season 1-5, but battled back and go themselves a playoff berth, and a Wild Card win. Any way you look at it, these are two stints, over two different seasons in which the Colts have gone 2-9 under Frank Reich. This isn't to say that Reich is less than a very good coach, however, something is certainly amiss with the decisions, production, and issues throughout the team. The major issue this season, among others, has been special teams failures. Adam Vinatieri missed wide from 55 yards, sent a line drive that was blocked, and then a blocking failure allowed another to be blocked and returned for a touchdown that ultimately turned the tide in the Colts loss in Week 13.
