The Indianapolis Colts were coming off of a handy defeat of the Minnesota Vikings in Week 2 and were hoping to take care of business in Week 3 against against a depleted, and sloppy New York Jets squad. They did exactly that by handing out a 36-7 smashing of the Jets, with a big defensive effort, efficient offensive play, and a solid special teams outing. Mo Alie-Cox again showed that he was capable of continuing his big-play ability, Xavier Rhodes had his most productive game in a couple years (2 Interceptions), and Philip Rivers maintained his control over the offense. The Colts are seeing instant returns in the acquisition of DeForest Buckner, the team's secondary is thriving in spite of losing a couple key pieces in the past couple weeks, and Frank Reich and Matt Eberflus have been calling some very good games on their respective sides of the ball.
