Magnificent Life

"No longer do I call you servants, for the servant does not know what his master is doing, but I have called you friends, for all that I have heard from my Father I have made known to you." John 15:15  As Christians, we often discuss the importance of our identity in Christ. But what does it mean to embrace that identity? It's not just a matter of accepting who we are today; it's also a matter of understanding and embracing the potential for growth that comes with being part of God's kingdom. The Bible clarifies that children's identity in the kingdom of God is determined not by their age but by what they believe and do. This means that no matter how young or old we may be when we accept Jesus into our hearts, He gives us new life and fills us with His spirit.  With this new life in Christ comes an opportunity to live differently - to become more like Him and less like our former selves.
