The key to living in the perfect will of God is submitting to His truth and His wisdom. Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6

In this episode, I share 3 Bible passages that have changed my life for the better! The Word of God has the power to bring about God’s Will in your life. When we treasure His Word and obey His Word we receive His promises in our lives. These Bible passages can change your life too!

The Lord commands us in Proverbs 3 to NOT forget His Word. But its not enough to just know His Word, we must obey it. When we obey God’s Word we are in His Will and that brings us blessings. Among many this portion of scripture tells us that long, full life and peace come with obeying God’s Word.

In this episode of the Wake Up Call we study the life of King Rehoboam in 2 Chronicles 12. His life is a sad story. He inherits Israel at its greatest, he grows strong, and then he makes the fatal decision to turn from the law of the Lord. Then result of his backsliding and sin makes room for his enemies to plunder his kingdom. He then tries to restore the image of his lost wealth with something of much lesser value - he trades his gold for bronze.  You have a choice: will you trade your gold for bronze? Never allow what you have in Christ to be traded for cheap religion that looks the 'same' but has no worth. 

Every Christian has the responsibility of sharing the good news of Jesus with whomever they can. We are living in our mission field - school, work, the gym, the grocery store, every where we go! In this episode, we discover our responsibility to warn all, teach all, and present everyone we can to the Lord. We do this not in our strength or wisdom but by the power of the Holy Spirit!

The Word of God is the standard by which we judge every thought, opinion, and report. Yielding to God's truth will prevent you from falling for the lies of satan which lead to death and destruction! Be deception-proof! 

Every Christian has the responsibility of sharing the good news of Jesus with whomever they can. We are living in our mission field - school, work, the gym, the grocery store, every where we go! In this episode, we see that the message of the Gospel is a mystery to those who have not heard it! We must reveal to others what has been revealed to us. We can do this because we have the blessed of hope of glory - the indwelling presence of the Christ. Jesus lives in you! And this is why you can share Him to others, because you know Him. 

“Go home to your friends and tell them how much the Lord has done for you, and how he has had mercy on you.” This was the command Jesus gave to a man that was saved and set free from thousands of devils! And its the same command He's have given you and me! Your story matters! Your encounter with God's saving grace and His redeeming power will help bring others into a saving knowledge of Christ! Don't ever be afraid to tell your story of God's love. It's too important!

The Bible tells us in Ephesians 5 that before Christ we weren't just walking in darkness - we were darkness! But now, in Christ, we aren't just walking in the light - we are light! The way we live, the words we speak are the light of God in dark, dying world. Be the light of God ever you go, exposing the lies of darkness.
