Having come from a massive sporting family, it's hardly surprising that Shelley Jones has gone on to play more than 200 matches for South Africa. Jones represented her country at all the major events but is now on a sabbatical as she takes on a new challenge in life - motherhood. Shelley chatted with Jabu and Derek about all things hockey, the new arrival, Jones Jnr, and the feeling of having a hockey stick made in your name.

Having served many roles within the South African hockey structures since 2004, Garreth Ewing was finally given the opportunity to lead the national men's team - an appointment welcomed by the hockey community at large. Derek and Jabu spoke to Garreth about his goals and the challenges that await in the remuneration-free role. He also opens up about his other passions, including Uru Sports, and of course takes on the One Question Quiz.

Marsha Cox secured over 330 caps for South Africa in a career that featured three Olympic Games, four World Cups and a host of international tournaments and events. Marsha, who wore the armband for most of her career, spoke to Jabu and Derek about leadership, her hockey-addicted family and her vision for South Africa. Of course, she also had to have a crack at the famous Hockey 24 Seven One Question Quiz.

Jack Thonissen was part of history when his Western Province Pens side won the South African Hockey Interprovincial Tournament. He was also recently named one of South Africa's top 35 Chartered Accountants under 35, despite dedicating his life to hockey. In this episode, Jack discusses, among other things, his role on the SA Hockey Council, Sportsways hockey camps and clinics, The Hockey Shop as well as Princess Hockey. Enjoy.

Nqobile "Bili" Ntuli is quickly taking the mantle from Lloyd Norris-Jones as the spearhead of the South African men's team's attack. While he's "only" played 33 matches, Ntuli has already scored some epic goals, including a fine finish in the FIH Hockey World Cup. Marcelle Keet is one of those gifted athletes who has represented South Africa in more than one sport. Not only is the Hockey and Waterpolo international extremely talented, but she's an incredibly nice person too. She joined Jabu and Derek to discuss all things hockey, the challenges of competing in two sports, family life as well as her recent adventure in Hong Kong.

Allistar Fredericks became a hero for many when he became the first player of colour to represent the South African men's hockey team, who went on to score 57 goals in just 59 matches. He also participated at the 1996 Olympic Games, and delivered South Africa's team speech to then-President Nelson Mandela at his Pretoria home before the squad departed for Atlanta. Despite retiring in 1998, hockey is still part of Fredericks' life, and Derek and Jabu caught up with the family man to discuss the sport and his many, many highlights.

Jabu and Derek catch up with Cindy Hack - a household name in South African Hockey. The SA Indoor Captain is the most-capped indoor hockey player in Africa, and opens up about the European Tour, plans for 2019, balancing parenthood with her sporting commitments and the big 100 cap milestone. Ross Willis was appointed coach of the Western Province Indoor Hockey men's side at the age of just 26 and few expected him to finish in the top 4, yet he went on to capture the title.
