Room F

As each part of Christ's body does its special work, the whole body grows (Eph. 4:16). God has unique, yet equally significant roles for every believer to fill in the church. We shortcut the growth of others when we do not do the work that God has assigned to us.

Biblical worship is to lay our lives out before God as an offering. We are all worshipping something. What if we worshipped like God was the only one in the room? What if our primary focus was appropriately honoring Him? 

The beautiful thing about biblical unity is that it lasts within diversity. Unity is oneness, not sameness. In God's glory, we are all one. Our diversity reveals the manifold wisdom of God in the earth. It shows that He is multidimensional and that He is never confined within a specific race or gender. Our unity with each other lets the world know that God sent His Son into the world and reveals His love (John 17:23).

In the Bible, loving other believers or hating them is equated to walking in the light or walking in darkness. How are we supposed to have a vision for 2019 if we don't see where we are going? The first step is to "turn the light on" by loving believers.
