American Tears est un trio de hard rock basé à New York, dominé par les claviers. Leur premier disque, "Branded Bad", a été distribué par Columbia Records en 1974, "Tear Gas" a suivi en 1975 et "Powerhouse" en 1977 avant de se reformer en 2018 sous Deko Entertainment.
