Vinylestimes Classic Rock Radio

Superdownhome est un duo né en juin 2016. Les deux décident de collaborer et de former un projet lié aux traditions du blues rural, mais aussi projeté vers des espaces personnels contaminés par le rock’n’roll, la country, la folk et le punk. Seasick Steve et Scott H. Biram sont les artistes dont ils s’inspirent. Inspirés par Seasick Steve, ils décident d’utiliser des outils comme Cigar Boxes et Diddley Bows. De Scott H. Biram, ils adoptent l’approche minimale et le mélange entre humeur douce et sauvage. On parle du nouvel album "Blues Pyromaniacs" avec Beppe Facchetti.

DEMAGO sort un troisième album pour continuer d’écrire son histoire. L’histoire d’un groupe de rock français singulier qui ne ressemble à personne d’autre. DEMAGO est un groupe à part dans le paysage musical français, oscillant entre poésie, engagement politique et second degré. Le binôme parisien DEMAGO se fait connaitre en 2008 avec la sortie remarquée de son album Hôpital (Wagram/Universal), dont plusieurs titres (Hey doc, Respirez…) sont diffusés sur les ondes. SiX By SiX est le nouveau trio passionnant formé par Ian Crichton (Saga), Nigel Glockler (Saxon) et Robert Berry (3 ; Emerson, Berry, Palmer), et leur premier album éponyme est disponible depuis le 19 août via InsideOutMusic/Sony Music. Les racines de SiX By SiX remontent à plusieurs décennies, à l’époque où Glockler et Berry étaient ensemble dans le cadre de la continuation du groupe GTR par Steve Howe, guitariste de YES. Le temps passe, les chemins se croisent et le destin réunit ces trois musiciens, nés d’une conversation avec un initié de l’industrie au Royaume-Uni qui a mis en relation Ian Crichton dans la région de Toronto avec Robert Berry en dehors de San Francisco, qui à son tour a joint Glockler chez lui sur la côte sud de l’Angleterre. Propulsé par la batterie dynamique de Glockler, le résultat est une palette étendue de guitares, associée à la saveur unique de la collaboration entre Crichton et Berry pour l’écriture des chansons, qu’ils sont très heureux de présenter sur ce premier album.
