Washington is a mess. And the effects of that mess are not just affecting the life of millions; they are changing the direction of our entire country. Since the Democrats took over the majority in Washington, our country has seen a massive shift from a nation of freedom and prosperity to regulations and government dependence. Somehow they have managed to justify a $17 trillion debt, found a way to skirt their constitutional responsibility to pass a budget each year, and regulate the way the private sector does business. They’ve even managed to get away with telling individuals what type of healthcare is best for them: 65 year old men need maternity care.  How have they possibly continued on this path of intrusion without an uprising? We may have an answer and it’s all in the name of the poor.

Obsessive-compulsive disorder is characterized by unreasonable thoughts and fears (obsessions) that lead to compulsive behaviors. OCD often centers on themes such as a fear of germs or the need to arrange objects in a specific manner. Symptoms usually begin gradually and vary throughout life. We see this kind of stuff every day from the media. They are obsessed with every small detail of Trump's existence. They compulsively feel the need to not only point to something negative, but also the sinister, the unbalanced, or what they see as "evil."

The distorting effect of this concentrated increase is illustrated in Figure 6, which breaks down the total increase in murders between 2014 and 2016 by city. As shown below, Baltimore, Chicago and Houston together account for around half of the increase in murder in major cities between 2014 and 2016.

All but one of the murder victims in St. Louis last year were Black, and everybody accused of those murders were also Black. Those were the statistics that prompted one of the city’s top law enforcement officials to make a personal plea to his fellow African-Americans: Stop it now. “One hundred percent of the people that were caught and accused of those crimes were African-Americans. We have to address that,” St. Louis Public Safety Director Jimmie Edwards said specifically to “Black folk” during an event marking the annual Martin Luther King, Jr. national holiday on Monday. “We cannot go forward and continue King’s dream unless we look in the mirror and address that problem. That’s a problem that’s on us.

Would you think to have 41 people shot [in Chicago] between Friday morning and Monday morning would be much more newsworthy and deserve much more outrage?” he asked. From Mar. 16 to Mar. 19, 41 people, mostly African-American, were shot in Chicago, Obama’s adopted hometown. Ten were killed, but there was little reaction outside Chicago, say several African-American leaders and commentators. Why hasn't Jamiel "Jas" Shaw II, 17, a standout Los Angeles student-athlete gunned down for the color of his skin and the red of his Spiderman backpack received a scintilla of the mainstream media attention paid to Trayvon Martin?  Both were young black males of the same age when they were murdered.

The Death of Freedom of Speech and the Growth of Intolerance Freedom of Speech requires me to respect your right to say what I don't like to hear--even to publicly insult and humiliate me--just as it requires you to respect my right to say what you don't like to hear. And just because we have ideas that are unacceptable to each other, it doesn't make us enemies. You may be giving me the best advice in the world but I don't realize it and find it offensive. Should you be prevented from, or punished for, saying it? We are supposed to love each other despite our opposing ideas. When I recognize your right to say things I don't like, I don't get angry at you for saying them. You, in return, respect me for acting respectable. Furthermore, since I don't get angry at you, you cannot have the pleasure of getting me angry, so you don't seek to torment me with words. All wise people throughout the world understand this. It is the most basic ingredient of peace.

I’m sick of tiptoeing around liberal snowflakes There is a word that has, in the last few years, taken on special status above and beyond its literal meaning. ‘Offended.’ If someone is offended by something, heaven help the person who did it. The more eagle-eyed may notice that I myself tip-toed around the more natural and previously accepted phrasing ‘he who did it’ to avoid offending anyone. Many people feel political correctness has run out of control on college campuses across the U.S. Unfortunately, some of this behavior has crept into other institutions, from police departments to high schools. A Pew Research Center survey in 2016 found that 59 percent of Americans say “too many people are easily offended these days over the language that others use.” While people outside the bigotsphere try to avoid language or actions that offend others, at the same time, some attempts at politically correct behavior can go too far. These PC terms can devalue the English language and cause confusion.

If there's anything that lays out how arrogant and entitled the Democratic Party is, take a look at how many Democratic grandees' feathers are being ruffled by Democratic Socialist "it girl" Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who defeated a ten-term Democratic incumbent in their Bronx-Queens congressional district earlier this month and who now outshines them all. Four — count 'em, four — candidates backed by the Democratic Socialists of America won spots on the ballot during this week's primary elections in the Keystone State. Two of them won't even be opposed by a Republican in the general election.

Trumpalicious? Trumpmazing? Trumptastic! Is Donald Trump the best leader America has ever had, or is he so far out of his depth that he has decided to drown? It is beyond all doubt, in my mind, that Trump will be one of the most memorable and controversial presidents ever. He had only been in office for a matter of days and had already begun destroying Obama’s legacy, signed numerous executive orders and annoyed the Mexicans. Within hours of becoming president he had signed an executive order with the aim of rolling back Obama’s Affordable Care Act and replacing it with his own alternative. The media are already dubbing it “Trumpcare”; I wonder whether he will keep it? It sounds far too egotistical for “The Donald”! Somewhat more worrying to Trump’s critics is that he has also met with the CIA and received the nuclear codes. In short, hundreds of nuclear weapons have been put at the disposal of a man who even gets all trigger-happy when Meryl Streep criticises his success.

U.S. President Donald Trump said he intends to run for reelection in 2020 because "everybody wants me to" and there are no Democrats who could defeat him, the Mail on Sunday reported.  Asked by British journalist Piers Morgan in an interview given on Friday whether he was going to run in 2020, Trump was quoted by the Mail on Sunday as saying: "Well I fully intend to. It seems like everybody wants me to."  Trump said he did not see any Democrat who could beat him: "I don't see anybody. I know them all and I don't see anybody." America may have been granted a reprieve through an event that could have been a long-term disaster potentially turning out to be its salvation.  That event was the presidency of Barack Obama and the ensuing hubris of his fellow-travelers in the American Left.

The Army has charged Bowe Bergdahl with desertion and has referred to an Article 32 military preliminary hearing which is the military version of a grand jury.  Should Bergdahl be convicted by a General court martial,he faces the possibility of life in prison.  This represents yet another embarrasing episode for the Obama Administration, coming on the heels of great fanfare after Bergdahl's release and coupled with Rose Garden photo ops with Bergdahl's parents.
