He ultimately learns of the wonders of France, the best way to wait out a severe lightning storm, and how to develop a life-long relationship. Kurt Weist is extraordinarily proud of his origins in Upstate New York and can still see the rolling hills of Onondaga County when he closes his eyes and slips into reverie. Sometimes you don't know what you're capable of doing until you do it. Sometimes your biggest obstacle is that voice in your head that tells you "you can't". This is a story about how Angela found a new passion, saved someone's life, and unintentionally silenced that voice. Angela was born and raised in Kansas. She is now Board Certified in Internal Medicine and works as a hospitalist at Meridian Park. She is athletic, a Canadian Ironman finisher, Climbed Mt. Kilamanjaro and, of course, now enjoys kayaking!
