It's award season and the buddies are back for the annual Oscar Special! 2017 is back and were here to dish up our hot takes on movies!  

The Buddies are back with some unfinished business. Question business!  No central movie this time, just Sean and Charles talking about some movies they like, a little bit of news and answering leftover questions.  We also talk about inspiration, desk posture, current music favorites, nerd culture and Tim Allen.  Enjoy!

Sean and Charles are joined by special guest, Jennifer Zheng to discuss Man in the Iron Mask.  We also talk about finding time for personal work, scientology, film festivals and short films blowing up on the internet.  Enjoy!!!!

Sean and Charles have seen the 2017 oscars and are here to give you their thoughts on the winners, losers and that best picture goof.  To be honest, the oscar talk is a bit light, most of this episode is spent answering listener questions.  We talk about traditional film techniques in animation, childhood fav films, is animation a genre or medium, NFB shorts, new media companies commissioning animation and much more!

This episode was recorded friday night before the 2017 Academy Awards.  Charles and Sean spend this whole episode betting who is going to win and dishing hot takes for some of the nominated films.  We pretty much spoil the entirety of Hacksaw Ridge, but it's ok because it's a bad movie anyway.  Also some spoilers for Moonlight, and La La Land.  This is Part one of two. 

2016 is finally almost over and the Movie Buddies are back to give you the hot takes on the best and worst movies had to offer.  Well, mostly just a lot of talk about the worst since we didn't see that many good things this year.  No special guest this time.
